Church Commissioners meeting

The latest meeting with the Church Commissioners (CC) was held on 11 April 2024.

The CC were briefed on the progress that is being made on establishing TCLT and were very pleased to hear that an Open Meeting is being held to discuss this with the Parish.

As a result it was agreed that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both parties can be signed; this will be done immediately and a copy of this document will be posted on the website in due course.

The CC agreed that it would be a good idea for TCLT to share their 'concept plans' at the Open Meeting later that day.

The CC also told us that TCLT are very much in the vanguard of parishes that have been in contact since the release of the 'Coming Home' Report.

The meeting ended with both parties agreeing that excellent progress was being made in a spirit of friendly cooperation.
