We apologise for not publishing a Report on the CLT Board Meeting held in October, but this rolled over into a second meeting on 5th November and it seemed appropriate to combine the two together. A copy of this dual report has now been uploaded onto our website and you can see it here. We are aware that there has been some discussion about the Affordable Housing scheme on sites such as Facebook, but we took the decision right from the start to keep Thorverton informed on what is happening through this website or Focus magazine and not to use other media outlets.

You can make contact with us through this site and we will always do our best to respond in an open and honest way; however, please bear in mind that this project now involves some commercially sensitive issues which the Board feel could be compromised if made public too soon.

Having said that the Board will keep to its promise to update and inform the village - the community will definitely have its say on the project; the Board just wants to establish what can be achieved in order to present viable options to the village with as many of the “ifs, whats and maybes’’ being eliminated first. We intend to hold a Public Open Meeting similar to that held last April, as soon as we can. Please bear with us as we continue to work on the many issues that are associated with such an important project.
